Long time no see

It has been a long time since I updated my blog on here. Honestly, I forgot about it for a good while. A lot has changed in the last few months. I finally got a good job that paid really good. However, that fell through as many do in many different call centers. I have been unemployed for several months now. Yesterday I had a job interview for a part-time position at a local Home Depot. I will hopefully hear something back in the coming week.
Everything is going alright with my living situation. I am still living with Mom and Dad. I still get to see my sweet Ella one day a week (on Sunday). However, my ex-wife moved to Georgia with my other three children. I was fortunate to see them this Thanksgiving for a couple days. We went ahead and did their Christmas while they were here. The previous time I got to have them was Easter. Obviously it is a pretty big stretch of time in between visits. It makes me sad to see them in photos I have to basically steal from my ex-wife's Facebook page. Missing holidays, school events, birthdays.... It all kills me. All I can do is enjoy the time I have with them while they are here. I call them one day a week (also on Sunday) and talk to them for a while. They tell me about their school work, friends, and what they have been up to.
I am dating someone new. The girl I was dating in my previous post and I broke up. I decided to break up with her about a week before our one year anniversary. We just couldn't spend time together and I was tired of feeling alone. She was very hurt but life goes on. I dated my baby's momma again for a while and it didn't work out either (AGAIN... ), then I dated a girl from work. Which I never have done in the past. We dated for a couple months and well we were just too different. We are still friends and talk every so often. No hard feelings. Right now I am dating a girl named Nikki. She is sweet and fun to be around. She is very caring and LOVES my children. As with all people, her past seems to creep up to the present from time to time. She has had issues in the past, which I will not go in to specifically. She is still dealing with issues and needs your prayers. The important thing is she is working and is happy with where she is right now. I'm not sure if we will be a sure thing. The thing I tell her is to just take things one day at a time.
I got a puppy. :) I named him "Stinker" because he is a little stinker. He is a Che-weenie mix. He is a smart dog and is small, cute, and sweet. I'll post a couple photos for you all to see him.
My photography is getting better. Much better, actually. I bought a new DSLR and a new lens while I was working at the call center. I bought a Nikon D80 with a battery grip and a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8-4.5 HSM lens. I absolutely LOVE them.
